Fans have been eagerly waiting for news and updates about the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). It was announced before that the widely-known manga is going to premiere a two-part movie next year. Yuusuke Watanabe and Tomohiro Machiyama are working on the scripts together with the supervision of Hajime Isayama. Shinji Higuchi, on the other hand, is the director of the movies.
The actors and their roles in the films have also just been revealed. Haruma Miura takes the lead as Eren Yeager, while Mizuhara Kiko and Hongo Kanata are Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, respectively. Jean Kirstein, Sasha Blouse and Hanji Zoe are played by Miura Takahiro, Sakuraba Nanami and Ishihara Satomi.
Original characters are also introduced and added for the film version.

Hasegawa Hiroki plays an original film character named Shikishima who is said to be ‘humanity’s strongest’.
