A promotional video was recently unveiled for the upcoming Tokyo Ghoul smartphone game by Bandai Namco Games. It features a narration by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor of the main character Ken Kaneki. Tokyo Ghoul Carnaval will be released in Japan sometime next year, but its official website is currently accepting pre-registration. A super rare Kaneki card will be given to those who will pre-register once the game starts. The smartphone app is free to download, but in-game purchases are also available.
Ken: I’m not the protagonist of a novel or anything. I’m just a normal book-loving college student you’d find anywhere. But… If I were to write a single work with myself as the protagonist, it would surely be… A tragedy.
Ken: This world is wrong. The one who’s twisted is…! The one who’s twisted is…!
Ken: Tokyo Ghoul carnaval.
Ken: I am a ghoul.
On the other hand, the second season for the anime adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul will premiere on January 8, and is entitled Tokyo Ghoul √A (Root A).
