It was previously announced on Shueisha’s 17th issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine that Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul manga is going to have a stage play adaptation. And last Thursday, the official website for the said play released a character visual of the main character Ken Kaneki, which is portrayed by Yūki Ogoe. Other details like the schedule and ticket information are also included in the website. The show will take place at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from July 2-8 and at the Kyōto Gekijō from July 18-20. Pre-reserved tickets will be on sale on May 8 until May 14, while regular tickets will be sold beginning on May 23.
Isamu Kayano will direct the stage play, and Chūji Mikasano will write the script. Joining Yūki Ogoe in the cast are:

Tokyo Ghoul was first published on Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2011 and it recently concluded last year. A sequel entitled Tokyo Ghoul:re has been serialized by Shueisha in addition to Sui Ishida’s prequel story Tokyo Ghoul: JACK. An anime adaptation by studio Pierrot was aired in 2014. The 12-episode series is then followed by Tokyo Ghoul √A. The second season started its broadcast in January this year and concluded in March.
