“Death Note” TV Series Reveals Cast

It was recently reported that the popular manga “Death Note” will be having a live-action television series this year, and last Monday, the cast was revealed in full costume. Shueisha made the announcement regarding the cast in this year’s 26th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The drama will be broadcasted on NTV on Sundays starting in July.

Death Note was published from 2003-2006 and it also inspired a 37-episode anime series which was aired in 2006. Three live-action films were also released, which starred Tatsuya Fujiwara as Light Yagami and Ken’ichi Matsuyama as L.
