Uta no Prince Sama to Return with a Fourth Season

Just a few weeks after Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolution concluded, a fourth season to its anime adaptation was already confirmed! The official website of the said anime series made the announcement last week after the final episode of season 3 flashed the messages “To Be Continued…” and “See You Next Season”.

The popular otome game published by Brocolli has spawned three anime adaptation series so far, with the first season being televised in 2011. The second part, entitled Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji LOVE 2000%, ended its 13th episode in June 2013, while the latest one concluded just last month this year.

Fans Vote for Their Top 16 Idol Anime Series

Japanese website GOO conducted another survey among 500 anime fans where the respondents had to choose their top idol-based anime series. Topping the charts is The Super Dimension Fortress Macross with 19.2% votes. Magical Angel Creamy Mami (11.4%) came in at second place, while THE IDOLM@STER (9.4%) clinched the third spot. Other anime series who made it on the list are the following:

Miyano Mamoru to Sing the Opening Theme for Uta no Prince-sama’s 3rd Season

The official website for the anime adaptation of Broccoli‘s Uta no Prince Sama revealed that Ichinose Tokiya’s voice actor, Miyano Mamoru, will sing the opening song for the third season of the said anime which will premiere in Japan in April 2015. ST☆RISH, on the other hand, will perform the ending theme for Uta no Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolutions. ST☆RISH is the idol group’s name in the series which is also voiced by the cast that includes Hiro Shimono, Mamoru Miyano, Takuma Terashima, Kenichi Suzumura, Kishou Taniyama, Junichi Suwabe and Kousuke Toriumi. The said cast will reprise their roles as Syo Kurusu, Tokiya Ichinose, Otoya Ittoki, Masato Hijirikawa, Natsuki Shinomiya, Ren Jingūji and Cecil Aijima, respectively

Those who will join them are Miyuki Sawashiro (Haruka Nanami), Showtaro Morikubo (Reiji Kotobuki), Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Ranmaru Kurosaki), Shouta Aoi (Ai Mikaze), Tomoaki Maeno (Camus), Yūichi Nakamura (Ringo Tsukimiya), Koji Yusa (Ryūya Hyūga), Yuka Imai (Tomochika Shibuya) and Norio Wakamoto as Shining Saotome.

Top 11 Anime Characters Most Fans Want to Date on Christmas

Fans were able to pick out the anime character and celebrity they want to date the most on Christmas. Otamart conducted the survey where a total of 1,752 respondents participated. Yasutomo Arakita of Yowamushi Pedal topped the list for women, while men voted Rin Hoshizora (Love Live!) as their most preferred date on Christmas.

“Uta no Prince-Sama” To Air Its Third Season Next Year

Uta no☆Prince-sama♪, a popular Japanese otome game/visual novel series published by Broccoli, is going to air its third anime adaptation series! The third season, entitled Uta no Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolutions, will premiere in Japan starting April 2015. Its official website recently announced the title, main visual, staff & cast of the anime series.
